An Outscraper alternative with a flat price
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Outscraper is an online service: it scrapes Google Maps on its own servers and charges for each record. SweepLead is a Chrome extension: it reads Google Maps in your own browser, for a flat monthly price with emails included. SweepLead is our product, so weigh what follows accordingly. Below: what each costs, and where Outscraper is the better choice.
The price, side by side
| Outscraper | SweepLead | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Pay as you go: credits that never expire, or a monthly invoice on a card | Flat monthly or yearly plan, no credits |
| Free | 500 places a month | 200 listings a month, 50 of them with email |
| Google Maps listings | $3 per 1,000 places from 501 to 100,000 in a month, then $1 per 1,000 | Pro: £9.90 a month for 150,000 listings; Agency: £29.90 a month for 600,000 listings |
| Emails from the businesses' websites | Emails & Contacts enrichment, billed separately: first 500 domains free, then $3 per 1,000 domains | Included in Pro and Agency |
| Where it runs | Outscraper's servers | Your Chrome, on your computer |
Outscraper's prices are in US dollars, as shown on its pricing page on 30 October 2026; SweepLead's are in pounds sterling, in euros in the eurozone and in dollars in the US, VAT included.
What 10,000 and 100,000 listings cost
| Listings in a month | Outscraper, places | Outscraper, emails (estimate) | SweepLead |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 | $28.50 | up to about $15 | £9.90 (Pro) |
| 100,000 | $298.50 | up to about $166 | £9.90 (Pro) |
How we counted: for Outscraper, the first 500 places a month are free and the rest cost $3 per 1,000, so 9,500 × $3 / 1,000 = $28.50, and 99,500 × $3 / 1,000 = $298.50. The email enrichment is billed per website domain: in our own grid test, 570 of 1,016 listings had a website (56%), so 10,000 listings mean about 5,600 domains, or about $15 after the 500 free ones; 100,000 listings, about 56,000 domains, or about $166. Outscraper says it bills "the domains with found contacts", so the real figure can be lower. For SweepLead, both volumes fit in the Pro plan's 150,000 listings.
Where Outscraper is the better choice
- Speed and your computer. Outscraper runs on its servers. SweepLead runs in your browser, at a human pace: our grid test collected 1,016 listings in about 26 minutes, so 10,000 listings take several hours with Chrome open, and 100,000 take days.
- API and integrations. Outscraper has an API, Zapier and a HubSpot integration. SweepLead exports Excel or CSV files, nothing more.
- Reviews and other data. Outscraper also sells review scraping, email verification and phone lookup. SweepLead does not collect review text.
- A larger free amount. 500 places a month on Outscraper, against 200 on SweepLead's free plan.
- Installation. The Google Maps version of SweepLead is installed by hand from a ZIP file, not with the usual one-click install.
Where SweepLead is the better choice
- A bill that does not grow with volume. One flat price, emails included: no credits to watch.
- A whole country, ready to run. A Google Maps search stops at about 120 businesses. SweepLead repeats the search from every point of a country plan (20 countries) and keeps each business once. How the grid works.
- Nothing to set up on a server. Install, search, export.
- Cancel in one click from the extension, under "Plan and licence". The plan stays active until the end of the period paid for.
Questions
Is SweepLead cheaper than Outscraper?
From a few thousand listings a month, yes: at 10,000 listings Outscraper's places alone cost $28.50, against £9.90 for SweepLead Pro. Below that, Outscraper's free tier and per-record price can cost less.
Does Outscraper have a Chrome extension?
Its pricing, Google Maps scraper and email scraper pages mention none: it is used from its web app or its API.
Do both find emails?
Yes, from the businesses' websites, since Google Maps does not show them. Outscraper says its email scraper "extracts up to 5 emails" from a website. In our test, SweepLead found an email for 338 of 1,016 listings. See the list of extensions we tested and the full comparison.
